We are regular visitors to our villa and we have learned lots of small things that can make your holiday more enjoyable or relaxed. Here are some ideas that might help you.

Lets start a you get off the plane! Sandford Airport is an excellent alternative to Orlando. It is smaller and less well known but we have found it to be well organised and efficient. Moving through and out of Sandford is much simpler. On clearing passport control and immigration, you simply cross over the road to the car rental building, pass your car voucher to the rental company and your car will be ready for you to drive away.

As you leave the airport, follow signs for THEME PARKS and 417 SOUTH. You take the 417 South for approximately 45 minutes, leaving at the Celebration / 192 exit. There are 5 tollbooths on 417 requiring $5.50 in tolls, so make sure you have change.

As you leave the 417, you pay the toll and turn right up to the 192 stop light. Turn left at 192 West and proceed for approximately 8 miles. You will then see signs for US27, the 192 ends at the US27. Take US27 North for 1 mile. (please note, British drivers must use caution when turning right onto US27 and merging into the left lane).

You will notice the Winn-Dixie Marketplace grocery store and other shops. Turn right at the next road, signed Woodridge.

Visitors driving in the USA for the first time will find these directions easier to follow.
